From F@H Forum:

Quote:
We are pleased to announce the release of our Folding@Home Windows SMP client to open beta!

Please keep in mind that this is beta software. There will be bugs. You may lose work. If you are looking for a "safe" way to complete work (and earn points), we do not recommend using a beta client. For those who are willing to risk a little more debugging and the potential of some lost work (and points), this is a wonderful way to contribute to the science and see the latest technology coming out of the Folding@Home project.

For installation instructions, please see the SMP FAQ or the readme file included with the client.

The client can be downloaded at:
http://www.stanford.edu/~kasson/folding/Folding@Home%20Windows%20SMP%20Client.EXE

Please note that the client requires version 2.0 of the Microsoft .NET framework.

We will have a forum available shortly for discussion of the Windows SMP beta client.

Thanks for contributing to the project!
End quote

Make sure to read the readme in the folder the install program makes before running the client..

Will NOT run as a service though.

*squeek*

keep an eye on the client....mine sat idle for about an hour....stuck at 10% doing nothing.  retarted it and worked fine, though. Eh

edit: just checked f@h forum....this seems to be related to network connection.  apparently if it changes (disconnect/reconnect), the core shuts down. Doh

Don't know about the reliability bit, every thing my rigs have started they have been able to finish.   but yup Linux is a bit quicker at the jobs it gets... and gets  a few more points.  Thinking
