Do we have any BAM (BOINC Account Manager) experts at DCZone?

I've a tiny, wee, miniscule, little problem and could do with a bit of friendly guidance.

I figured I'd better post if only to say I'm sorry, I don't know anything about the account managers.  I don't use one. 
I'm looking on out of interest to see if I can learn anything though.

Onto the problem.

The easiest way to initially explain is to link you to the posting I have at BAM forum. As you'll see, a couple of people have offered a response but, in general there has been little response from BAM techies which is pretty disappointing. If you're gonna run a site open to all crunchers then support has to be there for all members.

If you need any more info to help with prob just ask - I'll find the serious posts amongst the normal DCZone ones 

The main answer I need just now is 'Can I cancel all my team/user project memberships and then relink them to my BOINC host through BAM with out any loss of credit?'

You'll realise how funny all this is when you learn that all I'm trying to achieve is to have my sig box stats in a nice red, white, and blue colour. Such a simple feature that is available to all - except me.

EDIT:- Just an update - all working now thanks to an old team mate of mine at The Scottish BOINC Team. All the answers can be found at the link above.

Now I just got to get it to look tidy - think I'll do a WU at SETI just to make it look even.

EvoDude, I noticed the shout in the BoincStats shout box and look who you dragged back in.

I've been using BAM since it was in beta so I no a few things about it...

But since it's all nice and blue now, there is nothing to solve.

Just been busy really.

I had my computer die end of last year which was probably about the last time I was here, A friend sent me a new CPU, I grabbed a new motherboard and it's now running...... OR it would be if it wasn't for the monitor going pop a month or two ago.
So I'm now waiting for some money and somewhere to actually get some Samsung 226BW in stock at a decent price (i.e. play.com prices ), been wait for a month now.

Though I did gain 2 Toshiba Tecra M2 laptop I've had to rebuild and get working properly.  Both are currently crunching Rosetta@home and a bit of depspid I think.  I would actually need to check what I'm running now.

Other than that since I am no longer a (yet again) student and I got my MSc I needed a job.  There being no jobs around here I'm now an extremely over qualified Science Technician in a private school up the road from me.

But I do get to play with all the gadgets and moan about staff and how education is not like it used to be in the good old days (about 15yrs ago for me)

Might look for a PHD to do at the local University, since they pay more and it an easy life there

Plus I've been sidetracked  by CyberNation (something to do for 10 mins a day) and AstroEmpires (something that shouldn't be taking as much time as it seems to)

Yeah, that's worked out real well so far.

True, but ya still have to do the paperwork............... believe me I know - have some due the end of the month . Then on break for a month, then back at it. ETA 07/2008 if all goes well
