I can think that than which a greater cannot be thought. Now, if that than which a greater cannot be thought existed only in the intellect, it would not be that than which a greater cannot be thought, since it can be thought to exist in reality which is greater. It follows, then, that that than which a greater cannot be thought exists in reality.

Well, Mighty Casey struck out. I was sooo hopeful. The Rockets had a run of 22 straight wins this year. Best winning streak since the Celtics about 30 years ago.
According to the statistics there's still a 17% chance the Rockets could win the series.

You were expecting a game with a rock? At least then the players would have some stones. What ever happened to 'loving the game'?

Playoffs are still in the first round series.
Each series is best of seven. Rockets are now 0-2. They'll haveta pickup at least one game in Utah to stay alive. This series determines "over" for me. If the Rockets win, I'll keep on rooting for my home team.

What Stephan is saying is that the playoffs go on seemingly forever or to the limits of one's ability to tolerate Marv Alberts' verbal orgasmic commentary, whichever comes first.

I make a simple sports post, and now there's circles of hades and purgatory. Sounds more like apocalypse than basketball.

That's the way Marv Albert makes it sound, an apocalypse with orgasms.

Does the LGC force you to watch?

LGC has FAR more culture than that.

Absolutely. She prefers sitting at the bedroom window, watching the squirrels until they forage right underneath it, then pops up and smacks the glass or screen with her paws. I swear she's laughing as they run off
