OK. Next time I'm over on the crunchy shiny thing, I'll click on the BOINC messages tab and look for...? Make sure you have everything else closed, no browser, no email, no nasty weapons chat, nuthin' ... in fact reboot it and do this before you open anything. That way all the messages are close together in the list. Then click the <Advanced> tab and click <Run CPU Benchmarks>. Don't touch anything till it finishes (about a minute, no more). Then just copy the list and paste it in a post.

Laugh now Kangaroo Boy............ I can out slow ya anyday Oh I've got slower than the VIA ... but it won't run an OS that can handle any current BOINC client.

Oh yeah, the current scores to beat:
*Remember this is 24/7/365 stable and running like that too*
Intel X5450 3.0GHz @4060 Windows XP Home Desktop 64bit BOINC v6.3.12 4,126 12,699 8 cores 841.25 BOINC points per core per day

That ain't the point............. or is it .......... Well if it won't run BOINC it's gonna be hard to benchmark, innit. edit: Besides, I'm after as many as I can get.

ooo, i think i still have best stats for a 32 bit rig on there... 64bit vista beats out 32bit xp

64bit vista beats out 32bit xp Some of them are a little surprising. Make sure you're comparing the same BOINC version as that makes a hell of a difference at times. 64bit clients bench higher than 32s as well.

Lubbley! Ok, I just need to know which version of BOINC you're running. Open the manager and click the "Help" tab and then click "About" and it'll tell you.

Dhrystone gives you an impression of your computer's CPU power for standard applications or how your CPU is handling string and integer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Integer operations. Whetstone measures the CPU's floating point unit, which usually is used for graphic intensive games. The closest I could find for you on Tom's (and I could swear I saw Dhrystone and Whetstone benchmarks somewhere) was this: PCMark 2005 - CPU Tom's Hardware Charts

I can think that than which a greater cannot be thought. Now, if that than which a greater cannot be thought existed only in the intellect, it would not be that than which a greater cannot be thought, since it can be thought to exist in reality which is greater. It follows, then, that that than which a greater cannot be thought exists in reality.

For the information to be any use I need your CPU info, (What brand, type, standard clock and current clock) and the OS info (Windows, Linux or Mac + type, version and 64 or 32 bit) as well as the BOINC version.
