no jealousy here...just gives me more reason to crunch wcg or other more established projects


issue here comes up not immediately after a boinc project dies, but instead when i wipe the hard drive or for whatever reason need to reinstall the database (once had a bad drive it kept corrupting on).  when that happens, i usually just rebuild with what stats are available......if a project is dead, stats are obviously not available, and so they don't get regenerated.....which leads to error messages during the image update that cause the process to fail....which is why the others don't get updated.


in other words....i really need to look into better error handling...

Error handling?  Simple move the on/off device to the off position.  DONE!

 

I'm getting an internal server error when i try to update my stats sig at DCstats.. 

what in particular is giving you the error?  i just went in and added a custom bar to mine without issue...

Was editing WCG points to get rid of the box around it..

Are you still adding projects to DC stats?

I keep saying I will, but never get around to it.  My plans have revised some...I need to rebuild some of the framework around this, as BOINC projects should be really easy to add, since they all use the same format for stats, but right now they're not. 

Question - how many non-BOINC projects are still active these days?

There's still quite a few Non Boinc's out there i will check the ones on or to be added to DC stats if you like..

No, I'll stick with what I have for now, and when things start getting more up to date, I'll look into more of the non-BOINC ones....those give a bit more trouble as they come in a different format.  I'll probably work with the BOINC stuff initially, then tackle the non-BOINC after.
