Looks like we've finished another project  Thumbs Up

Anyone who only has GC selected should select another project, as no more "new" work units are being sent out.

I do not expect Phase 2 until early next year.  The upcoming Cancer project will be an image processing program.  I do not know how big it will be, but the previous Cancer project was a very big image processing program, so I expect this one will not be small.  The low-resolution Rosetta program for HPF1 ran in 128 MB but that was unusual.  Now that Genome Comparison is over, I do not know of any proposed project that will fit comfortably in 128 MB.  But it is possible to run [email protected] in 128 MB using BOINC on Windows.  Apparently a lot of memory is used by the graphics in applications gridded to run with UD.

Rut ro Doh

Thanks, Lawrence. Looks like old "low and slow" will have to continue being the word processor it was purchased to be while I psyche myself up to move with my usual glacial speed into newer technology Embarrassed

Well, I'm supposed to be writing anyway.... Roll Eyes
