I'm suspecting it's the trackpoint drivers, though the same ones on beta didn't have an issue.  The first time it happened, I was scrolling down a page, then it froze, then screen went blank and gave me some error message when i tried to control-alt-delete saying it couldn't open the window or some such. Doh  Second time (the screen shot above) was again just scrolling down the page. lol Doh  Either that or firefox. lol

They do that right before they die.

They come with this long cord that you plug in to a wall socket....... rofl  rofl

yes, but with the beta, if you didn't happen to have said cord in socket, and battery ran all the way down, it'd go to sleep without warning... Tongue

not too many complaints here so far....the two issues that come to mind that i had with the beta was the no warning when battery low, and i think my printer was having issues....both of which seem to be corrected in the rc.  nvidia drivers seem to be ok now too, after finding out that i needed to pull the one off the laptop manu. website instead, so i can have fancy aero theme. lol

spent most of the day yesterday using ie8 to see if i could replicate the scrolling issue i had on firefox.  the times it did seem like it was about to do the same, it just froze for a few seconds, then kicked back in again.  still thinking driver issue for the trackpoint...will have to keep an eye out for an updated driver, as i don't want to revert to the trackpad. lol

Has anybody else tried the "Virtual Windows XP" released with Win 7? I find it a bit clunky, but nethertheless, it permit me use of my scanner without rebooting to Win XP or Vista.

No I haven't played with that bit...

Mostly there for companies with proprietary software that just won't play with 7.
