So my sister has asked me to install some form of parental control on her two computers. It seems she caught her son looking at... things. I've offered to examine all these sites for  suitability and got a shocking look!!! Seeing as how he's still fairly young and has very little computing expertise, parental control should be pretty effective for a good deal of years. I have googled out some , such aswebwatcher, aobo , OpenSNS(this one is tad bit advanced to me). I have no idea which one to use though. Pretty much all it needs to do is block questionable websites, and provide some kind of whitelist thing so it won't block cracked.
I don't know much about computer and pls advise in a easy way, Thanks in advance!

Only slightly cranky

I honestly don't know if there is a "turn-key" solution that will be effective or an effective solution that doesn't require a fair amount of computer familiarity.  Personally I use a combination of DansGuardian, ClamAV and Squid Proxy to filter and scan anything coming in to or going out of my network (I prefer to be a good "netizen" and make sure no nasties escape, even if my Linux machines are unaffected).

Well I was suspicious, but thought I'd give a "normal" reply anyway.
