random....watching the male species attempt to wrap christmas presents is always good for a laugh. lol  start with the oldest most crumpled wrapping paper you can dig out of the basement...cut at least twice as much more then needed paper from roll, being sure to use razor blade, even though perfectly good pair of scissors is sitting right there on the table.  then attempting to mimic "pretty" wrapping with extra folds...only to throw random pieces of tape across it.... lol  afterwards thinking "hmm, perhaps that's a little too much paper", then proceeding to cut off excess...and STILL leaving too much paper, resulting in attempting to fold up paper even more to try and make it work...then finally grabbing the spool of ribbon to try and keep it from falling apart... lol

I learned the proper way to wrap gifts when I was a kid from My mom  Thumbs Up
 Whistle
one thing I will do is completely tape EVERY SEAM /FOLD and make it very difficult for the little kids to
get their fingers under a edge of paper to open it  rofl rofl rofl rofl

Strapping tape ALL edges and folds making sure wrapping paper is tight against the package leaving no way of removing the wrapping without the use of a cutting implement.

and that's AFTER you have super glued the box closed.   Whistle

When does UPS deliver?

Depends....  Normally they make the rounds through my neighborhood between 10 and 11AM.
However, If I'm expecting a delivery, they don't come round till 6pm at the earliest.

I resemble that remark -  Shocked - Pinky is everywhere  Shocked

BTW - it's a genetic thing my YS used a 3' x 3' piece of paper and 1/4 roll of tape for 1 DVD  rofl

Guess he doesn't want anyone peaking to see which one it is.  lol

[Gift recipient] "I'll just peel back this corner and see what I got."  "Darn-IT more paper."

Me? I like hiding small gifts in BIG boxes and wrapping those up. Maybe toss in a weight or two and tell the person getting it to guess what it is.  lol

DA has seen part of that. Big box, small part hiding amongst 4lbs of packing peanuts.  rofl
