Did you get the ice as well? Still no.power yet. Had a wicked storm blow through last night. Comparable to a tropical storm. Lots of wind and heavy rain. Bet the power crews just loved that.. LOL. Well the storm did clear all the ice off so that should help. ROFL

Hit mid 70s here. Clouds rolling over as we're on the edge of a stalled front.

Bought a new sprinkler head for the garden as the ground was drying out. Ran it for an hour and a half ... before we got a tropical downpour lasting six hours.

Yellow orb is out here as well. Nice 42f outside.
Since the trash dude skipped out on us last week, I've been out in the garage collecting "extra" for him to haul away this week. Hehehehe...

Was 62f when I woke up this morning.. INSIDE! ROFLMAO!! I guess the stupid furnace decided it wanted to take a nap. Bet the wife was pissed when she got up for work. LOL REALLY Stupid darn furnace.. Blower on the exhaust.. Vacuum line to a switch that tells the gas valve the blower is working. Now.. How in the heck does VACUUM LINE get plugged up?? Does anyone else remember the days when they built these things right? Didn't need no silly blowers on the exhaust. Only safety crud was the sensor that told the gas valve "Yup! The pilot is lit." No extra ignorant circuit boards cause guess what YOU DUNNA NEED ONE whith a works forever mercury switch on the thermostat.

Yea? Well I can understand not wanting to use the stuff in devices that break. When's the last time you've come across a broken Mercury switch sporting thermostat? LOL. Darn things literally work forever. That's kinda dumb.. Discourage use of mercury in thermostats, yet mandate CFLs. CFLs break!

there you go again with that "L" word

Should have mandated LEDs for new construction. Save Save! Even less energy consumption. Centralize the power supply to run them then save even more due to being able to run low voltage 22-24AWG wiring to the fixtures instead of the 14AWG used for the Incandescent and CFL fixtures. But Fing, the white off the LEDs is like super harsh. Well? So are florescent lights. Simple fix. Put a lil yellow coloring in the diffuser. - On another note. The builder of this over priced junk house I'm living in could have done a LOT of things better especially for the original $300k+ asking price. But he did seem to get the insulation bit right.
