a friend that was heavily involved with them passed it on to try. on the backend i did notice a drop in the number of hack attempts in the logs...but their uptime affects our uptime, and it's not quite where it should be...

Talking of odd forum behaviour ...

I've been playing with different browsers and have compiled recent to very recent versions of both Firefox (7.01) and Chromium (17.0.927) and am seeing some weirdness in chromium.
Using the default theme I keep getting truncated posts.  There's a little scroll bar at the side that doesn't seem to do anything.  If I switch to the graphite theme everything works fine.  Here's some screenshots to show what I mean:

The forum works fine in Firefox, btw.

Is this just typical of Chrome (and Chromium) or do I have an issue with a library somewhere?

For whatever reason it seems confined to the default forum style.  Something in the CSS it doesn't like, I'd guess but I don't really know.

dunno...would have thought the default was better maintained and working cross browser since it would get updated with forum updates' while the more custom theme doesn't get much as far as updates...

Well, knowing others see the same thing at least means I didn't miss-compile it.
